5 Day Tiny House Hands-On Workshop
July 1-5, 2015
The Sanctuary Minnesota – Ogilvie, MN
Ready to Change YOUR World?? You do not want to miss this!
This is a one-of-a-kind, never before, FIVE DAY, HANDS-ON tiny house workshop! Join us and spend the week with a power-house of tiny house personalities: the renowned tiny house guru Jay Shafer, tiny-houser B.A. Norrgard, and construction professional Daniel Bell at The Sanctuary Minnesota, a scenic, wooded 80 acre facility.
Get your day started with an on-site yoga class & a continental breakfast.
During the day we will break into groups and rotate between swinging hammers and classroom time. We will frame one of Jay’s tiny house designs, and have classroom presentations covering a comprehensive list of tiny house and tiny living topics. B.A. is doing another tiny house road trip and bringing her Gifford house with her for you to tour!
In the evenings we’ll sit around a fire pit outside and have tiny house chat – bring your acoustical instruments and your tiny house community dreams!

Will there be places to stay at the location or will people need to find hotels, etc. If so, does the price include accomodations?

Hi Mary,
Good question! You can pitch a tent on-site, or there are three area hotels (see below). The workshop price does not include hotel. We will do a block of rooms at a reduced rate, however. Please let me know if you have any other questions! : ) Thanks.

Fly into Minneapolis-St. Paul
Car rental or shuttle to venue – TBD

Hi Teresa, thanks for writing!
Hi Teresa! Registration information with check payments may be sent to The Sanctuary Minnesota at 2396 Cable St Mn 56358. Credit card payments can be made at http://www.thesanctuaryminnesota.com from the shopping page.
The average temperature is 80 degrees for that time of the year. The campsite area will be developed around the number of participants. Because the Campbells live on site, they do have all the modern facilities, including three restrooms with showers, which will be available on a limited basis. There may also be a limited amount of beds available. Access to electricity will also be available on a limited basis.
AmericInn Lodge Mora is 10 miles away.
Super 8 Milaca is 14 miles away.
Grand Casino Mille Lacs is 31 miles away.
Please let me know if you have further questions! : )
